BACKGROUND & VALUES

I began my studies and practice in 2006.

Since then, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychological Rehabilitation and Neuroscience in Rome at the Sapienza University.

My training and experience continued in London, where I acquired higher level of qualification while also working as a specialised clinician in the public sector (NHS). I have worked in different settings including assessment of needs and diagnosis of mental health issues, treatment of severe and enduring mental health disorders, interventions for common concerns and daily stressors, also delivering group sessions, workshops and psychoeducation. I continue working in the NHS providing services in a centre supporting people that have experienced complex trauma.

Some of my further qualifications include Mentalisation Based Training at The Anna Freud Centre, Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Practice at Middlesex University of London, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at WPF, accredited by Roehampton University.

This is a life long journey that will continue enriching my experience as an individual and as a professional, and includes several years of personal therapy as well as constant development.

My practice follows safe and well respected guidance of the following Professional Standards Authorities by which I am accredited and recognised, and I am bound by their Code of Ethics and Practice:
